HAPPY THANKSGIVING ALL!

Just wanted to tell everyone that I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday!  Be safe and remember what tomorrow is all about...giving Thanks!

I'm so thankful for all I have in this world!  I give thanks for my Lord in Heaven!  (note: hopefully I'll get some sewing done too.)

Happy Thanksgiving!

Ready, Set, Sew!

Like promised I have taken pictures of the blankets I did this past weekend along with a scarf I did as well.  With Christmas approaching it has fueled the fire for more orders.  That being said I'll be popping out yet more blankets along with some new creations.

With any luck I'll remember to take pictures of those in order to share.  I'm excited about my sewing projects.  Life is good and I'm truly blessed by my wonderful Lord in Heaven.  I thank Him every day for what He has given me and even when the "valleys" come in our lives we need to see the silver lining called grace.

Enjoy!

Oh small note...this first picture is a blanket that my mom (aka mother-in-law) gave as a baby gift.  The friend sent us this the other day with her precious little girl with the blanket...too adorable!

Thanksgiving and Christmas here we come...

If you hadn't noticed or realized Thanksgiving is just 16 days away and then 'BANG' Christmas will be here before you know it.

With that being said - I've got to get to it!  Order, orders, orders...blankets, key fobs, purses, shirts, scarves, etc...

I'm going to be a busy bee in the next few weeks but I'm excited.  And (hopefully) I'll be posting pictures (yikes, there's a word that is always so far out of my mind) but I'm going to try and remember to take pictures of all the things I'm going to be working.

Hope you all are having a wonderful day.  It's beautiful today here in Georgia.

And I'm back!

Lately I've been quite busy with school and work so I've ran off track and lost my time to work on anything else.  This weekend Tye and I went to a FamilyLife - Weekend to Remember conference at the Chattanoogan.  One word-AWESOME!  We learned quite a bit about each other, how to communicate better, and how to work things out, and all kinds of things.  So I had to take time to share and try and get back on track.

It's a boost for your marriage.  There were couples there that had been married for 46 years to 1 week to engaged couples.  They talk about all kinds of things and most important they talk about our main priority in a marriage- God.  Tye and I both enjoyed it so much and look forward to going again in the coming years.

It started on Friday, continued on Saturday and ended on Sunday.  Saturday on the lunch break we decided to eat at Urban Stack since we were just a short walk away.  Plus, it was beautiful outside and we enjoyed the stroll together.  Neither one of us had ever been there before and so we were eager to try it out - I was especially surprised since Tye is a bit picky with his food.  Me on the other hand can eat just about anything.  I took more pictures here because I realized that I had a phone and it had a camera...duh!  :)  We both enjoyed it..we order a cup of chili...d-licious and then we each order the Bacon Cheeseburger and split an order of fries.  One suggestion- they only offered us 2 choices...pink or well...and unless you enjoy pink...and I mean pink - then you better get well done.  We chose pink and Tye figured out pink wasn't his forte but it still was great.

My bubby...handsome fella!

On the walk back to the Chattanooga we stopped to take some pictures and I had to act silly a minute with our Shadow people.

I'm a lucky gal!

I'm so glad I have such a wonderful husband.  My best friend-one that understands me and loves me unconditionally.  No marriage is without arguments or problems but luckily with this conference we've learned how to make the good times even better and how to work through the tough times with a little patience and with a little communication.  It was one of the best weekends we've had and if you ever consider taking a marriage class or seminar or conference try the FamilyLife one out.  And if you would like to ask me or Tye about it we'll be as helpful as possible. It's well worth it and it's made us stronger.  I know that I want to have Tye by my side till my last breathe and I'm so blessed to have him in my life.  The Lord has truly blessed me with an awesome husband and his name is Tye.

I hope that all who are married know that your marriage is the most important relationship you will ever have in this world- it sets the foundation for your future, your kids, and their kids.  A healthy marriage is first centered on God.  Thanks FamilyLife for a great Weekend to Remember!
