New Year, new things, bright beginnings

Ah the New Year what a wonderful time to be refreshed.  It's a great time to make changes, make improvements and for new beginnings.

My goal this year is to keep up with a "Daily Bread" website that gives a little snip-it of bible inspiration and also has a "read the bible in a year" daily verses.  So far so good (well that reminds me to read it for today).  I plan on making today and the days to come a better year for the Lord and I.  I want to grow closer to Him and His word.

Also, my plan is to save, save, save...we all want financial security but sometimes we let that fall by the waste-side.  Not me...this year I'm going to cut back on frivolous stuff and start putting more in our savings.  (note: a little incentive is a possible Holy Land Trip next year!)  So by saving a little bit here and there would put me in a good position to take a trip over-seas.

Another plan I have is start making a business out of my sewing projects.  A little here and there has been my past experience but I would love to get my "shop" up and running full speed.  Not necessarily an actual store (although that would be my ultimate goal) but at least more than I have going now.

That leads me to the new little "widget" to the left...my Etsy Shop...check it out...even if you don't buy anything Etsy is a great and fun website to find unique items.  I love it!

Hoping to put more items on there sometime or another.

In addition, I plan on doing more on this blog...outfits (maybe) and more tidbits.  Hopefully, with school and work it want get over looked.

School...that's another thing.  I'm doing a class online and one actual class...so hopefully, I'll continue with managing that better than last semester.

Here's hoping you have a wonderful 2012...and make some changes, save some money, take a trip, improve something that you do, show your love more to those that need it and even those that don't, change a bad attitude, do those little things that you always said you were going to do but don't...have fun and live your life!

Have a blessed day!  Much love, donna
